Full Story

Sonia is a maid who is maltreated by her boss’s mother, Mrs Margaret and her boss’s girlfriend, Diva. Both women treat her with disdain. Diva even has a special name for her, Pig. 

Every time Sonia is mistreated, she uses her off day to vent to her friend, Vivian who gives the worst advice known to man. Either she is telling Sonia to stay at a job where they treat her badly or she is reprimanding Sonia for retaliating. 

After Mrs Margaret travels abroad for her NGO work (that demon works for a charity, na wa), Daniel, Sonia’s boss falls ill. From the hospital, Diva begins to display her displeasure about the whole situation. 

Eventually after being too tired of having to tend to Daniel who is now wheelchair-bound, Diva dumps him. After she leaves, Daniel takes up alcohol as his coping drug of choice and on one of his drunken nights, he has sex with Sonia. 

Sonia, thinking the man she likes now likes her back becomes all smiley but Daniel shut that shit down real quick. He becomes mean towards her. Diva returns and begs for his forgiveness of which Daniel does forgive her. 

However, their reunion is cut short after Sonia gives Daniel a package which contains a hard drive of the Diva’s sex tape with another man. That time she was away, she was making porno with another man. 

Daniel is distraught. He stops eating and drinks all day. Weeks go by and he eventually gets himself back. Mrs Margaret returns and Sonia’s life is made ten times worse again with Mrs Margaret cursing and slapping Sonia at will. 

Sonia overhears Daniel and his friend Jonathan having a conversation about her. Jonathan thinks Sonia is in love with Daniel and Daniel likes her too but Daniel calls her a classless maid who is a school dropout.

Sonia is shattered and resigns. After she is gone, Daniel magically stands up and declares to his mother that he was never “crippled” he only pretended to be for God knows what reason. 

Jonathan goes to beg Sonia on Daniel’s behalf but she refuses to return to Daniel’s house. Jonathan then visits Daniel and gives him Sonai’s address. Daniel says he is not interested in Sonia but Jonathan doesn’t believe him.

In the end, Daniel admits his feelings to his mother who is disgusted by the thought but Daniels goes to Sonia and confesses his feelings to her. She accepts him.

This movie was poorly written. The acting is abysmal, and the moral of the story is dangerous. I tried so HARD, so fucking HARD to find the good in this film and my God, there was none. I get that sometimes budget is an issue but the cheapest thing one can do is write a good story and this story was not good AT ALL.
